About Us
Educatio Student Care Centre is a quality afterschool care centre. Students can transition smoothly from their school environment to have fun on their exploratory learning journey at our spacious centre in Aljunied before heading home.
We are located in close proximity to Geylang Methodist Primary (GMSP), Kong Hwa School (KHS), Canossa Catholic Primary (CCPS), St Margaret's Primary (SMPS), Cedar Primary and Bendemeer Primary.
We focus on both academic and holistic development with our purposefully curated in-house curriculum focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (also known as STEAM), and life skills. Moreover, we strive to provide a one-stop experience where students can engage in a broad range of optional enrichment activities during and after centre hours.
"Educatio" is the latin word for education as well as the act of bringing up or rearing. This is precisely what we want to achieve at our centre: To educate children and bring them up with the right values to be happy and well-rounded individuals who can achieve their full potential.
Our Mission
Educatio is the brainchild of a mother who is grateful for Singapore's rigorous education system and also enjoyed diverse learning opportunities during her time in top United States universities. She believes in raising resilient, confident and independent children who are equipped with the right tools to succeed in life. Given MOE's reduced emphasis on examinations for lower primary students, she shares the same worry as many parents about how keep children gainfully occupied after school hours. This led her to join forces with her like-minded friend to establish a one-stop solution for parents who are looking for a holistic and specially chosen curriculum focused on academics, STEAM and life skills as well as the opportunity to enroll students in a variety of enrichment activities under one roof.
