 Our Differentiated Curriculum

Why focus on STEAM?
STEAM is the abbreviation of Science, Technology, Engineering,  Arts, and Mathematics. It is an interdisciplinary education approach that engages children in hands on learning and encourages children to ask thought-provoking questions while developing solutions to real life problems. The Arts component gives a more complete and well-rounded education.

What life skills do we focus on and why?
While doing STEAM projects, students at our Aljunied centre are encouraged to explore their creative side, as well as critical thinking skills.  They will be involved in experiential learning and develop communication and collaboration skills. We also hope to impart core life skills similar to MOE's 21st Century Competencies such as digital literacy, self management, social awareness and decision making. See our timetable for how these programmes are integrated into our curriculum.
